” I hired Dale Dorius to represent me in Utah Court! I am a father who is Fighting an Adoption in Utah. I faxed putative father papers to his office three day’s before the birth of my daughter. Having putative father papers filed before Birth would have stopped the placement of my first born child. Dorius claimed that he faxed them to the Utah Vital Records Department that day, but some one was sick so it didn’t get filed properly. I repeatedly called Dorius’s Office and Asked him for a copy of his phone records proving he Faxed those papers that day and to get the date changed in the Utah Vital Records Department and thoroughly prevent any Adoption.

Dorius Responded that Putative Father’s Papers didn’t matter because of some 20 day notice due to a phone call placed by an Adoption Counselor saying she informed me of a Utah Adoption. I denied her claim in an affidavit. That “phone call” is not even being presented presently by the Adoption Agencies Attorney. I repeatedly called Dale Dorius and asked for clear proof that his office sent the fax -it would be in Dale Dorius’s office phone bill because it is a long distance call! Dorius also failed to serve the Mother with papers in the Utah Paternity case, a gross error and statutory grounds for dismissal, and failed to notify me or our local legal team that this was a problem. Since we served the Mother with a DNA order in our local paternity case by his direction he certainly knew she could be found.

I repeatedly called his office and left messages, he did not return my phone calls at all. When I sent a time stamped email with questions about the Putative Father Registry and informing him that members of the Utah Legislature told me that the notification must be in writing. He responded by dropping my case claiming I vacillated …

When we got his case docket, we found out that all he did was send a couple of letter’s to the Adoption Agencies Attorney. Nearly Everything sighted by the other side now is a direct result of Dorius’s inaction.

It is clear to me that Dorius is unfit to represent Birth Parents contesting adoptions. He has a conflict of interest being an adoption attorney, having four adoptive kids of his own, and being a Member of an Adoption Industry Lobbying group.

With that many years experience the only explanation’s of failure to represent me totally is a conflict of interest, senility, or flat our conspiracy which can not be ruled out. In fact with his experience he would know better than an out of state father who hired an in state attorney of what technicalities are used to terminate birth parents rights in Utah.

Therefore I am calling for his disbarment and asking that disciplinary action be taken against him immediately!

    Thank You!

    Bryn Ayers …

    God Bless ….
